Haringey has received notice that their SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) provision is to be inspected next week (5th-9th July). The focus of the inspection is on how well the needs of children and young people with SEND are identified and met by the local authority, health services, early years settings, school, further education providers and other organisations.  

Inspectors will visit a range of schools including primary, secondary (of which GCS is one) and Post-16 along with special schools, health and other settings. They will also lead face to face and virtual meetings and focus groups with children, young people, parents, carers and staff.

However, due to the pandemic, we are having to limit the number of parents who are invited to meet the inspectors in person. Please contact Jane Wright (SENCO) if you would be interested in participating in the face-to-face meeting.
