Reading is one of the best ways that you can spend time when you are away from school. Reading will improve your academic ability but will also help you to escape to another place entirely. Whilst the school is closed, we encourage you to read as much as possible. There are many Ebooks and Audiobooks which you can access (check out the AR link below and the other Book / Audiobook links in this section)
If you read a book which is on AR, please do quiz using the links below. We will be rewarding enthusiastic readers on our return. However, if you are enjoying a book (and it is not on AR), please read and enjoy it. ALL books will contribute to the raising of your reading age and the development of knowledge to support your studies.

A special note for Year 7 and Year 7 parents
We have had a detailed look at our library and at what is on AR to find books which are particularly suited to your curriculum. Please find below a list of books and quizzes which are particularly well-matched to the Y7 curriculum offer.
These are the books that we recommend your children read, as they are closely linked to the curriculum and would benefit them when they return to school. Please continue to encourage your children to keep reading for pleasure.
