First, we would like to say a massive thank you to parents and carers for your support during this unprecedented and uniquely challenging period. We are so grateful for the way in which you have supported and continue to support your children with remote learning.
Please read the Remote Learning home page for detailed information about our expectations. In essence, when pupils are at home (even for a day), teachers will expect them to follow their normal school timetable and hand this work to their teacher. The expectations are the same in the event of a full or partial closure, teachers will continue to upload work for pupils. In the event of a prolonged closure, the uploaded work will be supplemented with some live lessons and some recorded lessons. Pupils will find out what they need to do through monitoring their Google Classrooms, their emails and Satchel:one.
You will have noticed that we have adapted to the new circumstances and adopted some new IT systems. The most important and widespread of these new technologies is Google Classroom. Please see a brief video below which introduces you to Google Classroom. Please note that we have not yet enabled Parent Notifications although this is an option which we are exploring.
You can continue to check home learning through Satchel:One. If you are experiencing issues with Satchel:One (formerly known as Show My Homework), please email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
