Gladesmore Community School Celebrates GCSE Results 2026

Gladesmore Community School is celebrating the achievements of its Year 11 students following the publication of this year's level 1 and 2 results, with students celebrating their success alongside parents, friends, family members, staff and Councillor Mark Blake, Leader of Haringey Council.

Students have secured a strong set of outcomes across a wide range of subjects, reflecting their hard work, determination and commitment throughout their time at Gladesmore. This year there were significant improvements in attainment and, in particular, the core subjects.

Headteacher Paul Bernard said:

“I am incredibly proud of our Year 11 students and everything they have achieved. These results reflect not only their academic ability, but the determination, resilience and hard work they have shown throughout their time at Gladesmore.”

He continued:

“Our vision is to provide an outstanding all-round education where our pupils make impressive progress in a positive, friendly, community atmosphere. Today is an important moment in that journey and I want to congratulate every student as they have worked so hard for their results.”

This year’s results include a number of exceptional individual achievements that include:

  • A student achieving seven 9s and three 8s and progressing to London Academy Excellence Tottenham.
  • One achieved four 9s, four 8s and two 7s and will progress to Islington Collegiate Sixth Form.
  • Another student achieved five 9s, four 8s and a 6 and will progress to The Leys Cambridge.

Mr Bernard added:

“These outcomes are the result of a real team effort. I want to thank our staff for their commitment, our parents and carers for the support they have given their children and our governors for their support and challenge to ensure the best outcome for our students. Finally, I would like to thank our students for their hard work and the way they have responded to the challenges and opportunities presented to them.”

The results reflect Gladesmore’s continued focus on high expectations, strong teaching, positive relationships and the school’s REACH values of Respect, Enthusiasm, Aspiration, Cooperation and Hard Work.

Students will now progress to a range of sixth forms, colleges, apprenticeships, training and employment opportunities, with destinations including London Academy Excellence Tottenham, Haringey Sixth Form, The Leys Cambridge, Woodhouse College and many others.

Mr Bernard concluded:

“We are proud of what our students have achieved, but we are equally excited about what comes next for them. They leave Gladesmore with our very best wishes and with the confidence that they are capable of achieving even more in the future.”
